My name is Asen Georgiev Nikolov. I am a preacher in an Evangelical
Church in the town of Vidin, state of Bulgaria. Our church is a part of
a union with the Evangelical 50thy tenth Church in Bulgaria. This union
unites over 700 churches in the whole country. It was closed down in
Vidin in 194 from then existing authority. The believers were gathering
and preached in god in their homes illegally until the falling of this
regime in 1989. In the autumn of 1990 the church was rebuilt officially
with 30 people. Now its members are over 100 people. Preaching
ceremonies are held in state clubs with hardly paid rent. Because of
the great unemployment in the town the finances are low. We are often
removed from the clubs because they are given for commerce and business
needs from which they will gain more money. That impacts over the work
of the church and hinders the bigger spreading of it. Now every year in
the church come over ten new members.

Preached are the truths of the God's word (Bible). In the church we are
united in the preaching and God gives us very much of our needs. We
plead in future with God’s will to build a devotional house. The whole
church and the devotional groups are pleading also for spreading of the
influence of the God's word in Vidin ‘s regions.

We preach all the time in three villages. We have the opportunity to
preach in a lot of other villages but we don ‘t because of lack
of finances, expensive transport and high prices of the fuels.

I believe, that through our preaching, God will respond and solve these
problems. I believe that there are no impossible things for our God.
All we have is because of our fervent prayers to our Saviour — Jesus
Christ. I hope, that you will support our prayers and needs. Our church
preaches for needs of the other churches.
