Message from Pastor Pastor Toni Mrvic
Dear brothers in sisters in Christ!
I greet you from the
young church plant in Kočevje, Slovenia.
It is small church of
30 - 40 people, who love God in respect of His Word. They are all
young believers, the older are three years. But God gave me a heart
for church planting developing in Slovenia, because here are many
towns that have no church that teaches living Gospel.
A Few
week ago we had a spiritual weekend and had a lot of fun, spiritual
power and a lot of love. The picture above is from there. At the end
of school year we plan to have a baptism of about 5 born again people.
I ask you for prayers for the church in Kočevje and for the
church planting movement in Slovenia.
I wish you a lot of
blessings of God Jesus Christ.
Its been really great serving the Lord in Slovenia with
Pastor Toni and Mateja. This wonderful couple despite
considerable challenges are leading a good work in
Kocevje. This town of about 10,000 people has a very
young church but the believers are keen to learn and
managed to gather three evenings as well as Sunday.
It
was a great joy to get to know the people over these days and to
pray for them.
They
have a heart for the wider work of God too and showed encouraging
interest in Living Hope and particular the Congo with Pastor Isaac.
By
God's grace the vision is to see the church at Kocevje firmly
established and then to plant other churches from there.
it
has been a real privilege for Elaine and me to see what is happening
and like Barnabas at Antioch we see the grace of God at work in the
lives of His people and also we desire to see the nation touched as
these servants of God reach out to Him.
We
are so grateful that our brother Zeljko has introduced us to this
part of God's kingdom. Pray for him and Leila too as they serve the
Lord.
