We want to point out that it is brother Gideon maxwell and Wandi
Rukorio who works in the Sudan supported by the Buru Buru Full
Gospel Church of Kenya. Living Hope has channelled some support
to Wandi and we have encouraged Wandi to report to us regularly
and we include him in our prayer circle.
The whole church together with charismatic
movement is faced with the challenge of translating the renewed
awareness of the reality and the life of the Holy Spirit into a
revitalizing of the mission of the church, viz:
Bringing men and women to Christ in
significant numbers from every segment of society.
Effectively applying the gospel to
social and cultural spheres.
To achieve these goals two major alternatives
stands for choice as far as ecumenical rapprochement is
concerned.
Charismatic movement.
Traditional theological dialogue.
Some have judged the traditional theological
dialogue as an often relatively fruitiness route while others
think the charismatic movement is a more promising road. We have
a choice. The entrenched culture in Eastern Equitoria (animism
and traditions some totally antichrist) cannot be penetrated by
theology, academic intellectual development or any form of so
called civilization devoid of the Word of God, the power of the
Holy Spirit working in holy men and women in these last days. It
is total spiritual suicidal to attempt sending any interested
individuals who has not been so equipped, to face the powers of
darkness.
One has to be called, sensitive to the voice
of God and His Holy Spirit, the word of God and ready to grasp
what God says using co-workers. Hearing goes with obedience.
Fearlessly facing the challenge. Walking by faith, getting these
men and women, training them, equipping them, giving them both
responsibility and authority, will be the greatest church
achievement for the great harvest of today.
