NEWS FROM RASHEED IN PAKISTAN
Please pray
and if you feel able to make a practical response or
perhaps take a retiring offering, please send it to
Living Hope clearly indicating that it is for Pakistan.
Rasheed has proved very trustworthy and blesses all
Pakistan people, whatever their faith. His work after
the earthquake several years ago brought very good
reports from the community.
He writes,
“Please put the urgent fund raising request for the
People of Pakistan on the website of LHM UK. Please do
it as soon as possible. 2.5 millions People are affected
by the rains and floods in Pakistan. In Shangla 16 more
dead bodies were recovered from the debris of the land
sliding raising the total number of casualties to 2000
in the districts.
A total of 70
villages, 28 link bridges, dozens of schools, medical
centres, hundreds of shops, houses, plazas and precious
orchards of various crops and fruits have been washed
away by the flash floods as various epidemics have been
reported in the different districts of Punjab. 1500
hundred animals are died in these floods.
In those days floods and heavy
rains are affecting the area of Punjab, the district of
Mianwala and Sargohda and 750 villages and thousands of
houses swept away in the rains and floods.
We are in heavy rain and Pastor
Razzaq's house is completely destroyed due to the heavy
rain. Thanks God, God saved his wife and children. But
now they are without roof under the rain clouds and
storm. Please pray for him.
One more urgent prayer request for
the family Pastor Rashid and his younger brother Sajid,
both had been killed by the fundamentlist muslim people.
So keep the other family members in your every prayer
meeting for safety, God will protect them under His
might hand.

Please find some lessons for
children prepared by our daughter-in-law Julia Brunton.
Julia has produced some material for use with children
of the pastors we work with in LHM.
They give good help to the discipleship of children and
are currently with Bishop Peter in Uganda and Bishop
Stephen in Kenya. They are available for use by anyone
free but a donation to the work of LHM would be helpful
to produce more Biblical materials.
