McQuarrie
Video was established in 1983 to film weddings and
other social occasions. It now comprises a husband
and wife team. Carole is now a qualified Master
Member in her own right with the institute of
Videography. This is the best industry
recommendation that you can have and means that
David and Carole are both qualified with the IOV as
well as the Association of Professional Video
makers.
Living Hope Ministries now have
programmes broadcast in Kenya, Nigeria, India and
Uganda. These are seen by millions of people, and
email responses are proof of the evangelical effect
these are having on both believers and new
Christians. In reality they compliment Richards
visits but also reach many more people than he could
ever do in person. They are extremely popular both
in Africa and UK because of their straightforward
Bible teaching and have been shown free of charge on
the BEN satellite channel.
In June 2005 the Churches Media
Council awarded one of our television programmes
(for the Living Word Temple in Tottenham) a
"commendation". This included footage that Carole
had shot in Rwanda on a Living Hope trip and gave
the programme a human interest story line about the
need for orphanages in Africa where so many children
have no living parents. You need to know that the
BBC walked away with most of the awards but their
budget is a little different.
McQuarrie video specialise in 2
camera shoots with lighting as required. They have 4
cameras of the same make and model so that the
colour is suitably matched. Their expertise and
equipment has grown considerably and they would be
pleased to talk to any Church or organisation
looking to make Christian television programmes.
They still film weddings as well and cover the
entire south of the UK.
